How you'll make an impact in this role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a collaborative minded Geriatrician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
* Join a well established, collegial team
* Call structure: Minimal call, 1:9 weekends and weeknights
* Practice setting: Outpatient
* Be involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows
* Enjoy strong collaboration throughout the department including support from pharmacy, neuropsychology, social work, and post-acute care
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Serve the community and support the academic mission of Center for Healthy Aging
* Serve a unique role by participating in the academic activities of the department while providing comprehensive geriatric care.
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Geriatric Medicine
* Geriatric Fellowship required
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
