Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is recruiting a Geriatrician to join our well-established Older Adults service line within the Department of Medicine. CHA is an award-winning health system based in Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston’s metro-north communities, CHA provides innovative primary, specialty and emergency care to our diverse patient population through an established network of ambulatory clinics, an urgent care site and two full service hospitals.
Position Details:
- Full-time geriatrician opportunity
- Join a dedicated team providing high-quality care through our nursing home and house calls programs
- Our division includes eight geriatric physicians and a team of skilled nurse practitioners. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and work hours, supporting an excellent work-life balance.
- You will use the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- The position carries a Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications, and commitment to teaching responsibilities.
- Call schedule: 1:8, telephone-only; first call is covered by nurse practitioners.
Qualifications:
- BC/BE in Internal or Family medicine, as well as Geriatrics, successful completion of a geriatric medicine fellowship
- Qualified candidates will possess excellent clinical and communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to serving CHA’s diverse and deserving patient population.
- Previous experience in an academic safety net system is a plus.
CHA offers a competitive compensation plan, including a guaranteed base salary plus production incentive. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health/dental/life/disability insurance, generous paid time off, CME time and dollars, and more. The full time guaranteed base salary range of $240,000-$252,000 is based on years of experience.

Compensation Details
$240-252k
Guaranteed base salary. We offer a generous benefits package including 403b with company match, CME stipend + CME time, and 37 days of PTO annually.
