The Department of Neurology, Lahey Hospital Medical Center, a member of BI Lahey Health, is seeking a General Neurologist for Southern New Hampshire

General Neurologist for Southern New Hampshire

Responsibilities:

· Diagnosing complex medical problems by referring to a patient’s history, examining them and conducting neurological tests

· Counseling patients on neurological disorders and their background

· Ordering neurological tests and interpreting the results of neuroimaging studies

· Work as an extension of the Beth Israel Lahey Health’s department of Neurology in Southern, NH

· 370-bed tertiary care facility

· Level I Trauma Center

· Comprehensive Stroke Center

Practice Highlights:

· Join a team of 36 physicians, 2 PhDs, and 19 APCs

· Significant sub-specialty volume right from the start

· 1:8 general neurology call

· No stroke or trauma call for outpatient neurologists

· Neurology residents from affiliated university take the first call

· Teaching and research opportunities

· Faculty appointment available
