The Department of Neurology at Duke University School of Medicine seeks a board certified Neurologist with interest in Memory Disorders or Behavioral Neurologist with focus in clinical care to join its expanding outpatient neurology practice in the rapidly growing Raleigh-Durham, NC area and fill the role of Medical Director/Vice Chief of Clinical Operations of the Memory Disorders Clinics.
- The hired physician will provide patient care in Duke Neurology Clinics, with a primary focus on Memory Disorders and the option to include a portion of general neurology, as desired.
- This position is an outpatient-only clinical position, as a team of Duke Neurohospitalists handle all inpatient coverage.
- Successful candidate will complete all duties of Medical Director including overseeing clinical operations, clinic access, management of clinic personnel and clinical/research continuity.
- Teaching role includes preceptorship of medical students, neurology residents and fellows from multiple disciplines with an interest in Memory Disorders.
