Dermatologist | Decatur and Monroe, Illinois

An established dermatology practice in Central Illinois is seeking a Dermatologist to meet immediate patient demand and build a practice around your clinical interests.

Position Highlights

• Established Practice: Join a long standing community dermatology clinic with a loyal patient base and immediate patient volume.
• Clinical Space: Work in a primary location with dedicated exam rooms, cosmetic space, and procedure rooms.
• APP Support: Supervise an on site NP, with additional earning potential through supervised APP services.
• Clinical Scope: Build a practice around medical dermatology, injectables, cosmetics, and selected skin cancer procedures.
• Regional Resources: Access on site dermatopathology at the secondary regional hub, with periodic Mohs coverage.
• Practice Growth: Opportunity to expand into higher acuity skin cancer services based on local service line alignment.

Schedule

• Full time schedule built around four patient facing days per week, including virtual visits as needed.
• Established patient panel allows for a quick ramp up.
• Flexibility to adjust clinic and procedure time as your practice grows.
• Administrative work, including charting and labs, handled outside patient facing hours.

Compensation & Benefits

• $500,000 first year guarantee.
• Collections based compensation starting at 40% of net cash collections for personally performed clinical care and injectables.
• Additional 10% of net APP collections for supervised providers.
• Option for a guaranteed monthly base salary during a 1 to 2 year transition period.
• Sign on bonus, relocation, and student loan support may be available.
• 20 days of PTO, inclusive of CME and sick time, plus 6 holidays and 2 floating holidays.
• Up to $7,000 for CME.
• Employer paid licensing, DEA, and professional dues.
• Malpractice coverage with tail.

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology.
• Illinois medical license, unrestricted and in hand or eligible, and active DEA or ability to obtain.
• Comfortable providing collaborative oversight to APPs and aesthetic staff.
• Interest in building a preferred case mix across medical dermatology, cosmetics, and selected skin cancer procedures.
