Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Pediatric Urology team at Seattle Children’s. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care — outpatient, operative, inpatient, and emergency — for children with a wide range of urologic conditions. You will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage pediatric urology patients in collaboration with surgeons and a multidisciplinary care team. This role offers variety, impact, and the chance to work at a leading pediatric center with meaningful work every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical care in ambulatory clinics, operating rooms, inpatient wards, and emergency settings as part of the urology service
- Obtain patient histories, perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications, manage follow-up care, and coordinate ongoing case management across care settings
- Assist in or perform urologic procedures where appropriate (clinic, OR, or consult settings)
- Collaborate with pediatric urologists, surgeons, nurses, and allied health staff to ensure cohesive, high-quality care for patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement and departmental performance initiatives
- Engage in patient and family education, support, and continuity of care throughout the treatment process
- Contribute to education and research initiatives as part of the urology team
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (pediatric or family NP) or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active, unrestricted Washington State ARNP license (for NP) or PA-C license (for PA)
- National certification appropriate for NP or PA role
- DEA (or eligibility) and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or equivalent as required)
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a pediatric or family-focused care setting; prior urology or surgical experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, effective communication, and teamwork skills
- Comfort working in a dynamic, high-volume pediatric surgical and outpatient care environment
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Mixed practice settings: outpatient clinic, operating room, inpatient units, emergency/consult coverage
- Diverse pediatric patient population with a wide spectrum of urologic conditions
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment within a nationally recognized children’s hospital

- Flexible scheduling depending on OR, clinic, and inpatient demands
Compensation:
- Annual Salary Range: Approximately $125,000 – $185,000 (depending on experience, credentials, and full-time equivalence)
