Highlights
- No call required; maximize time between shifts
- Fully outpatient; no hospital rounds
Practice Setting
- Primary care clinic serving Medicare-aged patients
- Majority of patient population is Spanish-speaking
- Support from NPs, RNs, MAs, and on-site scribes
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- No weekends or after-hours responsibilities
- Minimum 3-month assignment, with option to extend
Cases and Procedures
- No procedures required
- Chronic disease management: diabetes, hypertension, CHF, CAD
- Care for mild cognitive impairment and geriatric needs
Requirements
- MD or DO, Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
- Active Illinois license and DEA
- Spanish fluency required
Travel Accommodations
- All travel expenses covered: airfare, lodging, rental car, mileage
