Opportunity Highlights
- 0.75 FTE Interventional Radiology locum, block-week coverage
- Coverage dates: Sept 21–Oct 2, Oct 12–16 & 26–30, Nov 16–20 & 23–27, Dec 7–11, 21–24 & 28–31
- 8:00 AM–4:30 PM shifts, nightly on-call 4:30 PM–8:00 AM
- Level 1 trauma and transplant center
- Kentucky — IMLC-eligible licensure accepted
- McKesson PACS, PowerScribe
Responsibilities & Duties
- 100% IR procedures, ~40 wRVUs/shift
- Solo coverage with support staff available
- Nightly on-call following each clinical day
- Complex procedural caseload at a high-acuity trauma/transplant center
Candidate Qualifications
- Board certified with completed IR fellowship
- Active Kentucky medical license (IMLC-eligible candidates accepted)
- Current ATLS, BLS, PALS, ACLS, DEA

Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite IR coverage across assigned block weeks
- ~40 wRVUs/shift, complex procedural caseload
- Nightly on-call coverage (4:30 PM–8:00 AM) following each clinical day
- Solo coverage supported by clinical staff
- Documentation via McKesson PACS/PowerScribe
Required Credentials / Licenses
- Board certified with completed Interventional Radiology fellowship
- Active Kentucky medical license (IMLC-eligible candidates accepted)
- Active DEA registration
- Current ATLS, BLS, PALS, ACLS
- Proof of current TB/PPD screening, MMR vaccination/titers, influenza vaccine or exemption
- Clean 7-year background check
Required Experience
- MD/DO, completed diagnostic radiology residency plus IR fellowship
- Experience independently covering solo IR call
- Comfortable with Level 1 trauma/transplant procedural volume and acuity
- Proficiency with PACS (McKesson) and voice recognition dictation (PowerScribe)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior locum tenens experience
- Experience covering block/intermittent schedules
- Comfort with high-acuity trauma and transplant IR cases
- Availability across all listed block weeks

Compensation Details
$450–$550/hour
Regular hourly rate: $486–$540/hr. Holiday rate: $648–$720/hr. Paid weekly via direct deposit as a 1099 independent contractor. No standard bonus/PTO structure applies to this 1099 assignment.
