The Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System (OCVAHCS) is actively recruiting a board-certified, board-eligible full-time permanent hospital-employed Interventional Radiologist to join our Radiology department. The Interventional Radiologist Physician is accountable to the Chief of Radiology Service. We are recruiting a highly qualified and equally motivated radiologist who is fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology. We are especially interested in candidates with the capacity to perform all general Interventional services to including MW ablation, TACE, and Y-90 procedures, myelograms, arthrograms, Lumbar Punctures and CT-guided, and ultrasound-guided or fluoroscopy-guided biopsies. Other procedures include vascular and non-vascular interventions, diagnostic interventional exams, diagnostic and therapeutic angiography and venography, percutaneous biopsy, central, venous access procedures, genitourinary procedures, among others. Ideal candidates will also possess appropriate skills and the ability to interpret all general radiology exams. Evaluates and manages patients referred for radiology consultations and procedures as appropriate. The candidate should be able to work with our radiology colleagues and radiology residents from the University of Oklahoma to provide seamless care to the veterans we serve.

This position would encourage obtaining affiliation with an academic institution, the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. The OCVAMC is in Oklahoma City, OK and is the “Flagship” for the Oklahoma VA Health Care System (OCVAHCS) - a Joint Commission-accredited, referral level 1a (high complexity) facility. The Radiology department serves patients across the spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care for more than 63,000 veterans in an area including 48 counties in Oklahoma and 2 counties in North Central Texas. Work Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday 08:00-4:30, plus on-call duties as needed. As patients are on the hospitalist service, call duties are relatively light. (May be required to work evenings or weekends).

•U.S. Citizens receive preference – non-U.S. Citizens may be considered.

•Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.

•Board Certified in Radiology preferred, but Board Eligibility may also be considered. Additional board certification in Internal Medicine is preferred.

Compensation Details
