This medical center is seeking a Radiology Manager to lead our imaging department. This leadership role is ideal for a patient-centered radiology professional with clinical expertise, managerial skills, and a strong commitment to quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Radiology Department.
• Supervise, train, and mentor radiologic technologists and imaging staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
• Perform and oversee diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, and Mammography.
• Manage departmental budgeting, staffing, and scheduling to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance, safety, and continuous improvement programs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal function and performance.

Education:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved program.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of diagnostic X-ray experience.
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience (must be ARRT-eligible for CT registry).
• Experience with Toshiba Prime CT and Cerner EMR is preferred.

Certifications:

• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Mammography registry (ARRT) or willingness to obtain.
• Current Kansas Radiologic Technologist license.
• Current CPR certification (maintained annually).

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Proficient in computer systems and imaging software.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
