Position Summary

We are searching for a general radiologist who is comfortable reading breast and/or musculoskeletal imaging at Northwestern Medical Center, located in St. Albans, VT. The ideal candidate would have training in general radiology and specialty training in breast/musculoskeletal. Northwestern Medical Center is a community, non-profit, state-of-the-art hospital with newly constructed, private inpatient rooms and offers 24/7 care in the emergency department with strong specialty backup. It has also been recognized as one of the "Most Wired” hospitals in America and has won national Avatar awards for "Overall Patient Satisfaction”.

• Full-time General Radiologist to cover Northwestern Medical Center
• Leadership opportunities available if applicant has interest; program development, building close partnerships and collaboration with medical and surgical specialists
• Capable and willing to read breast and/or musculoskeletal imaging in addition to general radiology
• Breast/MSK procedures and lite IR procedures (thyroid biopsy, paracentesis, thoracentesis) preferred
• Day shift, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm
• No Call

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathy (DO)
• Board Eligible or Certified, American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR)
• Required: Residency Trained, ACGME Accredited Radiology Program
• Will also consider General Radiologists who are proficient with Mammography; or those with
• fellowship training in Musculoskeletal, Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, or Emergency Radiology
• MQSA for Breast Imaging
