Pediatric Surgery PA – Relocation + Sign‑On Bonus

TMCOne, in partnership with Arizona Pediatric Surgery, is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our pediatric surgical team serving Tucson and Southern Arizona. This position supports the surgical side of the practice (not urology) and includes both hospital‑based and clinic responsibilities.

• Monday–Friday schedule
• 4 days in the hospital, 1 clinic day
• 6 days of call per month, taken from home
• Collaborative pediatric surgery team caring for children and families across the region
• Obtain patient histories and perform physical exams
• Evaluate new patients with operative and non‑operative pediatric surgery needs
• Examples: draining abscesses, removing stitches/drains, gastrostomy tube care, stoma care
• Manage follow‑up patients with non‑operative conditions (e.g., pectus carinatum)
• Train in neonatal circumcision and manage related patient care
• Assist with pre‑ and post‑operative care for pediatric surgery patients
• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Arizona PA license (or ability to obtain)
• CPR and DEA required
• ACLS required (department‑specific)
• Two years of experience preferred, but not required
• Understanding of PA practice regulations and prescribing guidelines
• Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
• Ability to manage chronic care and discharge planning
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD‑10 coding
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and care teams
• Ability to interpret clinical data and follow technical instructions
