The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System is seeking a highly motivated Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing surgical care team at the Cape Coral VA Outpatient Clinic. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide care for our nation's Veterans in a supportive, team-based environment.

Position Highlights

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of orthopedic conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Assist in outpatient orthopedic procedures and post-operative care.
• Manage follow-up visits, medication adjustments, and patient education.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapy, radiology, and primary care.
• Opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives and teaching activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification through NCCPA.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice as a PA in the U.S.
• Orthopedic experience preferred
