Primary Stroke Center
Certified Chest Pain Center – STEMI Coverage Day 1
Trauma Level: Level IV
Maternal Designation: Level 1 (Initially at opening)
Neonatal Designation: Level 1 (Initially at opening)
Coverage Model: 24 hour physician coverage
EMR: EPIC
Fellowship/Residency: Emergency Medicine
Qualifications
Education: PA-C
Licensure: TX
Board Certification: BC/BE
Experience: Emergency Medicine
Badges: ATLS, BLS, PALS, ACLS

About University Health – Retama Hospital: University Health – Retama Hospital is a full-service 147 bed hospital featuring 100 medical/surgical acute care beds, 20 intensive care unit beds, 11 neonatal intensive care unit beds, 10 post-partum beds, 6 LDRP beds and a 28-bed emergency department with 2 additional multi-care trauma bays. Services include advanced health care services in diagnostic imaging, lab services, emergency services, heart care, mother & baby, women's health, orthopedics, pulmonology, urology, vascular surgery, general surgery and gastroenterology,
