Seeking ABEM board-certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for PRN coverage in Louisville, Kentucky. This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking flexible weekend shifts, with occasional weekday coverage available.

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Primarily Saturday or Sunday shifts, with occasional PRN weekdays
• Shift Times: 12 PM–10 PM or 2 PM–12 AM
• Coverage Period: December 2026–June 2027
• Commitment: Must be available for a minimum of 3–4 consecutive shifts in a solid block
• EMR: Cerner experience required
• Credentialing: Approximately 6–8 weeks; expedited privileges may be available for completely clean files

Practice Details

• Approximately 100 patients daily and has 40 beds
• Level I trauma center
• Advanced specialty support and access to the transfer center
• APP support in the Fast Track area at Hospital
• Experience working with APPs and residents is a plus

Candidate Requirements

• ABEM board certification required; ABEM-certified physicians only
• Active Kentucky medical license strongly preferred; IMLC pathway accepted
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Clean malpractice history and background required
