Enjoy strong teamwork with Advanced Practice Providers who facilitate patient follow-ups, inpatient care, care coordination, and ensure seamless continuity of care. Our practice is closely connected with hospital services, giving you direct access to advanced diagnostics and specialty support.
Schedule Highlights:
- Clinic Hours: Primarily weekdays, offering a healthy work-life balance
- Call Rotation: 1:5 (one week every fifth week), with shared responsibilities across the GI team
Position Highlights:
- Deliver gastroenterology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Preference for candidates with experience in managing biologic therapies and liver-related conditions
- Provide care through a blend of in-person and virtual visits
- Clinical mix: approximately 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient
- Manage a clinic volume of about 10–12 patients per day
- Benefit from a fully integrated Epic EMR system
- Opportunity for outreach to the Janesville area
EDUCATION:
- Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program or
- Graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year healthcare or clinical experience which includes clinical hours in a physician assistant training program or
- 1 year experience as a nurse practitioner or 2 years registered nurse experience in an acute care setting
