Description:
Join a leading healthcare team as an Infectious Disease Physician in Pennsylvania. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by providing specialized care and expertise in infectious diseases.
- Located at UPMC Mercy and UPMC Shadyside (two tertiary care facilities) in the hospital line
- 4 seasoned Attendings expanding to add a fifth
- 100% clinical/ 98% inpatient including Burn, Trauma, ICU, Heme-Onc, No Pediatrics, Transplant or Obstetrics coverage responsibility.
- Internal Medicine Residents on our teaching service at both hospitals with active Surgical Residency programs in place at both sites
- Opportunities in Antimicrobial Stewardship
- Projected call is 13 weekends per year
- Competitive salary starting at $375k

Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification in Infectious Disease.
- Current Pennsylvania medical licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Proven experience in an infectious disease setting preferred.
