Description:

Join a leading healthcare team as an Infectious Disease Physician in Pennsylvania. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by providing specialized care and expertise in infectious diseases.

• Located at UPMC Mercy and UPMC Shadyside (two tertiary care facilities) in the hospital line
• 4 seasoned Attendings expanding to add a fifth
• 100% clinical/ 98% inpatient including Burn, Trauma, ICU, Heme-Onc, No Pediatrics, Transplant or Obstetrics coverage responsibility.
• Internal Medicine Residents on our teaching service at both hospitals with active Surgical Residency programs in place at both sites
• Opportunities in Antimicrobial Stewardship
• Projected call is 13 weekends per year
• Competitive salary starting at $375k

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification in Infectious Disease.
• Current Pennsylvania medical licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Proven experience in an infectious disease setting preferred.
