Join the Ward Family Heart Center team! We’re seeking a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to provide inpatient care for children and infants with congenital, acquired, or complex cardiovascular conditions requiring intermediate level care.
Heart Center Highlights:
- We perform over 500 cardiac operations, 600 cardiac catheterizations including invasive EP procedures, 18k outpatient visits, and 20k+ echocardiograms annually
- Our team includes 43 cardiologists, 4 CV surgeons, and 40+ APNs
- We have two state-of the art hybrid catheterization labs equipped with the latest 3D imaging and EP technology
- Subspecialty programs: EP, Heart Failure/Transplant, Interventional, Advanced Imaging, Fetal Cardiology, Preventive Cardiology, Genetics & more
Primary responsibilities will center on inpatient clinical care within the dedicated Acute Care Cardiac team, participating in multidisciplinary rounds. You will get the opportunity to work with sub-specialty teams, cardiology dedicated APRNs, medical students, cardiology nursing, nutrition, PT/OT, pharmacy, social work, care management, and more. Day with an emphasis on evening coverage should be anticipated.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD or DO, Trainees in their final year of residency are welcome to apply
- Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatrics
- Experience and interest in pediatric Cardiology
