How you'll make an impact in this role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected hospital system, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
* Join an established team
* Call structure: 15 days of call coverage per month
* Practice setting: Inpatient
* Access to Support staff
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
* Provide comprehensive pediatric care for newborns, infants, children and adolescents in the level 2 nursery inpatient setting
* Attend deliveries and provide newborn assessments, stabilization, and routine nursery care as needed
* Manage care for normal newborn nursery patients, including admissions, daily rounds, discharge planning, and parent education
* Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic medical record system

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
