    The Department of Pediatrics at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking an established HCT and Gene Therapy Faculty and professor with exceptional clinical and research contribution in HCT and Gene Therapy

    Position Highlights:

    Provide patient-centered care in collaboration with a world class, nationally recognized team of pediatric oncologists. This is a full-time position reporting to the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics.

    • Clinical responsibilities to include outpatient and inpatient disease management
    • Protected academic time and opportunity to collaborate with distinguished and nationally recognized leaders in HCT, Gene and Cellular Therapy interventions and research
    • Opportunity to embark in enterprise-wide initiatives such as assessment of post-cellular therapy immune reconstitution, re-vaccination post-cancer and cellular therapy efforts, and survivorship

    Position Benefits:

    • Generous salary and potential for sign-on bonus

      • Base Salary range: $220k - $320k *The salary range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.
    • Paid Vacation and Sick Time
    • City of Hope adds 20% of salary to your retirement account (NOT a match—you don’t contribute a penny) each year; up to a maximum of $61,000
    • Relocation assistance available on a case-by case basis

    Qualifications:

    • Experience working at assistant, associate or professor level in academic medical center or specialty cancer center that delivers both clinical and translational research to patients diagnosed with cancer
    • Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree, be fellowship trained in HCT and Cellular Therapy, and be Board certified
    • Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated record of scholarly work and achievement in Pediatrics HCT, Cellular & Gene Therapy work
    • The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license.
