How you'll make an impact in this role
This is a great opportunity for a Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in a highly collaborative, mission-driven role within a multidisciplinary child abuse and sexual assault program at a Level I pediatric trauma center.
* Join our established multidisciplinary team of 2 physicians, 1 APP, 2 social workers, a SANE coordinator, a nurse program manager, and a program analyst.
* Call structure: One week per month
* Practice setting: mix of both inpatient and outpatient
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Lead specialized medical evaluations for children and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring a compassionate and expert approach to complex cases of suspected abuse or neglect.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary ecosystem, partnering with law enforcement, CPS, and advocacy centers to provide the medical clarity necessary for child protection and legal proceedings.

What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
Education:
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- 2 years of pediatric advance practice provider experience
