🏥 About the Practice & NICU
- 70-bed, Level III NICU with advanced technology and a collaborative care model
- Two-facility health system with 7,000 annual deliveries
- Cape Coral Hospital provides Level I, low-risk delivery services
- Primary responsibilities include attending coverage in the Level III NICU
- Occasional Level I coverage including well-baby care with home back‑up coverage
- Full range of subspecialty services available (excluding cardiovascular surgery and ECMO)
- High-risk delivery service coverage
- 12-hour shifts with an option for 24-hour shifts based on prior experience
- Supportive team of 10 Neonatologists and 10 NNPs
- Strong emphasis on developmentally sensitive, family-centered care

Qualifications
- Current certification through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Minimum of a master’s degree
- Applicants must have completed, or enroll in, a one year post-masters Neonatal PA training program or have one year of recent experience as a Neonatal PA in a NICU
