Neonatology Opportunity in the San Francisco Bay Area
Responsibilities
Seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join our well-established practice in San Jose, CA.
- Good Samaritan Hospital has a level III NICU with an average daily census of 15 and has 40 – 50 VLBW admits per year.
- In addition to our affiliated group of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists, there is good pediatric subspecialty support including pediatric surgery.
- Services provided include high frequency ventilation, body cooling and iNO is available.
- There is an active maternal and neonatal transport program.
- The hospital is a Regional Perinatal Center and is certified by California Children's Services as a Level-III NICU and as a Neonatal Surgery Center.
- The practice belongs to the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative and participates in Pediatrix QI programs as well as other projects in collaboration with academic institutions.

NOTE: Team members at least 21 years old and are active full-time or part-time employee are eligible to participate in our 401(k) Plan at the time of hire. Team members who meet the plan’s minimum age requirement can enroll in the plan at any time, and contributions will begin as soon as administratively possible.
Team Members are eligible to begin participating in the ESPP if they have been employed by Pediatrix for two consecutive months prior to the start of each calendar quarterly offering period and are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for five consecutive months during the year.
Paid Sick Leave:
Eligible full-time team members will receive a lump-sum grant of 40 hours or five days, whichever is more beneficial to the team member, of paid sick leave each year on January 1. A newly hired full-time team member will receive a prorated lump-sum grant after working for 90 days. A lumpsum grant will then be provided on January 1 in each subsequent year as long as the team member remains eligible. Unused sick leave granted under this policy does not carry over from one year to the following year.
NOTE: The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
Pay Range: Base compensation is $270,000 - $340,000 with bonus potential
