Neonatologist in Jacksonville, FL - Affordable Coastal Living

Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join our national group practice in Jacksonville, Florida.

——Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Assistance options available!

Candidate will split coverage of 2 Level 2 NICU's with 2 other Neonatologists

  • One 10 bed NICU - Orange Park
  • One 10 bed NICU - Memorial Medical Center
  • "Level 2" in Florida is currently defined as "caring for infants born at 30 weeks and above and/or 1250g and above"

  • Our practice consists of a talented and dedicated group of 5 neonatologists, 1 Pediatrician and 14 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Night and weekend coverage provided by Advanced Practice Providers with Neo on-call from home
  • Providers also care for "normal newborns" at our hospitals in conjunction with our Pediatricians
  • Enjoy a cooperative team approach within our group and with hospital partners
  • Practice covers 4 local hospitals in the area although applicants will work specifically at the 2 hospitals within the same hospital system

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist
