Overview

We are seeking BC Neonatologists to help on a Per Diem basis with our neonatology practice at the brand new, state of the art Wynn Hospital in Utica, New York. Responsibilities

  • Coverage is 24 hours: round plus call from home/hotel. In house call room also available.
  • Days or 1 week blocks coverage needed
  • Private patient room Level-II NICU with approximately 200 admissions per year, an ADC of 7, and a census that can flex up to 13.
  • NICU coverage and delivery attendance only. Pediatric hospitalist service provides NBN coverage.
  • Perinatology and other pediatric subspecialties are available by consult, including pediatric cardiology. ROP exams performed by retinal specialist in house.
  • Unit is supported by neonatal trained speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists; pediatric-certified echo techs; and lactation consultants.

Qualifications

  • NY license or active IMLC required
  • Board Certification in Neonatology with recent experience required
