    We are seeking an experienced dynamic physician leader to drive the Occupational Medicine service line for the entire region.

    This is a "player-coach" role, blending strategic oversight, program development, and hands-on clinical practice. You will be responsible for the clinical quality, operational efficiency, and financial success across Loisiana. You will lead our clinical teams, build lasting partnerships with major employers, and provide direct supervision for our APP'S, all while maintaining our clinical practice at our Youngsville, LA clinic. 

    Strategic Leadership & Program Development (20%):

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional strategy to grow market share and expand OccMed services.
    • Standardize clinical protocols, workflows, and best practices across all regional locations to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
    • Partner closely with the sales and business development teams to attract, onboard, and retain key corporate clients.
    • Analyze regional performance metrics (KPIs), financial reports, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth & improvement.
    • Serve as the clinical subject matter expert during high-level sales presentations and contract negotiations.

    Clinical Oversight & APP Supervision (5%):

    • Serve as the supervising physician for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including FNP's & PA's.
      • Maintain a full supervisory roster, overseeing APPs as permitted under your license by the LSBME.
      • Fulfill all supervisory duties.
    • Provide direct clinical leadership and mentorship to all MD/DO's and APPs in region regarding OccMed.
    • Implement and lead a robust quality assurance (QA) program

    Hands-On Clinical Practice (75%):

    • Maintain a clinical practice at our Youngsville, LA clinic.
    • Perform the full spectrum of OccHealth services, including workers' comp injury management, DOT physicals, and pre-employment examinations.
    • Provide coverage in urgent care as needed.

      Required:

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
    • Board Certification in (Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine).
    • A minimum of 5-7 years of clinical experience with a focus in OccMed.
    • Proven leadership experience (Medical Director, Lead Physician)
    • Must hold an active, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of LA with eligibility to supervise APPs.
    • Current, unrestricted DEA registration.
    • Must be a Certified Medical Examiner on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) for DOT physicals.

    Preferred:

    • Board Certified in Occupational Medicine (ABPM).
    • Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
    • Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification.
    • Advanced degree (MPH, MHA, MBA) is highly desirable.
    • Strong business acumen, experience in budget oversight

     Executive Compensation: Executive-level salary complemented by performance-based bonus tied to regional growth and quality metrics.
