We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant, PA-C to join our Orthopaedic Oncology Program. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a world-class team that provides advanced care for patients with bone and soft-tissue cancers, including sarcomas.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons during clinic sessions, conducting split-share visits and assisting with patient care needs.
- Independently see patients to ensure top-of-license practice and provide comprehensive care.
- Spend time in the Operating Room to assist with surgeries and round on inpatients.
- Support care coordination tasks, including entering orders for labs, imaging, referrals, and medications, and manage symptoms that cannot be addressed at the RN level.
- Assist the larger Surgical Oncology APP team as needed.
- Provide expert assessment, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with bone-related cancers and sarcomas.
- Engage in cutting-edge research to advance the understanding and treatment of orthopaedic cancers.
- Maintain a patient-centered approach to care, ensuring individualized treatment plans and compassionate support.

**Qualifications**
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
- Bachelor's degree
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of demonstrated experience in managing patient care within Orthopaedic Oncology.This includes providing comprehensive assessment, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with bone-related cancers and sarcomas.
- Operating room experience is highly preferred, highlighting the ability to assist with surgeries and continued to inpatient care.
License/Certification:
- Current, unrestricted California PA license.
- CA DEA License (schedule 2-5) required.
- National PA certification.
- BLS
Overtime Status : EXEMPT
Primary Shift : Day
Shift Duration : 10 hour
Base Pay : $147,284.80 - $235,664.00
