• We are strictly seeking Locum Tenens Orthopedic Surgery coverage for 24-hour on-call shifts.
• Coverage includes inpatient and call coverage
• General Orthopedics
• No clinic responsibilities.
• Physician must take all incoming calls to the facility

November 6 @ 0700 – November 9 @ 0700

December 14 @ 0700 – December 28 @ 0700

• Medical Staff Required: Yes
• Outreach: No
• Telehealth: No
• 4 Orthopedic Physicians
• 4 Advanced Practice Providers
• APP Supervision Required: No
• Medical Imaging, Lab, and Pharmacy available on-site
• Average Daily Hospital Census: 10–20 patients across both locations

Responsibilities & Procedures

• Patient Population: All ages
• Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Surgeon (Required)
• Perform history and physical examinations.
• Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and consult on orthopedic patients of all ages.
• Manage musculoskeletal trauma, infections, tumors, metabolic disorders, deformities, degenerative conditions, and injuries involving the spine, hands, feet, hips, knees, shoulders, elbows, and related structures.
• Provide surgical and non-surgical orthopedic care.
• Assess, stabilize, and manage emergent orthopedic conditions.
• Provide consultation and call coverage in accordance with hospital medical staff policies.
• May provide care in the intensive care setting as needed.
