Position Overview
Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgeon to join our multidisciplinary team. This position will join the current two fellowship trained H&N oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgeons, Dr. Alice Lin and Dr. Andrew Larson in a complex head and neck oncology and free flap program that has been well-established for over a decade. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in the management of complex head and neck cancers, advanced surgical oncology with or without transoral robotic surgery and microvascular reconstructive procedures. This position also offers the opportunity to work with residents and medical students through the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J Tyson School of Medicine and rotating head and neck surgery residents.
Qualifications
· MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
· Board certified or board eligible in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.
· Fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery required.
· Valid California medical license (or eligibility to obtain one prior to hire).
· Demonstrated excellence in microvascular free flap reconstruction and complex head and neck cancer management.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
· Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
· Experience in academic teaching and research is highly desirable.

* Salary range includes incentives that are contingent upon skills, competencies, longevity, experience and geographic location. * The earnings included in the salary range are contingent upon requisite Board Certification. * Potential premium earnings may vary based on location. * Annual Salary is determined by longevity with the Group and full time equivalent (FTE) work schedule/effort.
