Locum Tenens ENT Opportunity - 24 hour call

Start Date: January/February 2026 Coverage Type: 24-Hour Call Coverage Only (Beeper Call, No In-House Requirements) Schedule: Flexible scheduling options available – seeking consistent coverage such as:

• 7 on / 7 off rotations
• Set weekdays each week
• Every weekend or every other weekend Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Position Details: We’re seeking an experienced ENT physician to provide 24-hour call coverage at a non-trauma facility in CA. The site offers a lower call-back volume and manageable workload — ideal for a provider looking for a steady, ongoing locums opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-call ENT coverage for inpatient and emergency cases
• Typical cases include:
• Foreign body removal
• Epistaxis control
• Abscess drainage
• Tracheostomy
• Management of post-op complications
• No trauma cases; occasional nasal fractures may occur
• Patient mix: primarily adults and teens, occasional pediatric cases (under 13) for foreign bodies
• Inpatient rounding only on patients seen during call hours

Facility Details:

• Average consults/admissions per shift: ~3
• EMR: Epic (orientation and brief shadow provided)
• Call response time: within 30 minutes
• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 3 months
