Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, invites applications for the position of Neurotologist.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical institution
  • Completed accredited fellowship in Otology/Neurotology
  • Board certified or board eligible.
  • Eligible for faculty appointment at Assistant Professor level or above.

Clinical & Program Expansion Opportunities:

  • Build a robust clinical practice in all aspects of otology/neurotology.
  • Expand the neurotology program at Rush main campus and regional sites.
  • Support growth of the Section of Otology.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary programs:
    • Acoustic Neuroma Program.
    • Auditory Implant Program.
    • Join our NASBS Multidisciplinary Team of Distinction
  • Opportunity to grow clinical programs.

Educational & Research Responsibilities:

  • Teach residents and medical students.
  • Develop a successful research program.

Department Overview:

    • 24 faculty, 9 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and 13 audiologists.
    • Provides Otolaryngology services across the entire Rush system.
    • Highly competitive residency program with 3 residents per year.

Compensation Details

$414K–$647K

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role, as well as additional compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
