Locum Tenens Opportunity – Otolaryngology (ENT) - Holiday and Ongoing Coverage

A busy Level II Trauma hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible ENT for locum coverage. This role offers a balanced mix of adult and pediatric care, surgical procedures, and outpatient practice in a supportive team environment.

Assignment Details:

• Clinic: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
• Surgery: Thursday
• Call Coverage: Monday – Sunday (schedule TBD)
• Support Staff: 2 LPNs (no APPs)
• EMR: Epic
• Patient Population: 60% Adult, 40% Pediatric, 1% Trauma
• Clinical Mix: Outpatient 80%, Inpatient/Surgical 20%

Holiday Coverage:

• Thanksgiving: 11/16 – 11/30
• Christmas: 12/14 – 12/28

Ongoing Coverage:

• Into 2026, 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Scope of Practice:

General Otolaryngology

• Surgical: Tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, PE tubes
• Non-Surgical: Allergy desensitization, hearing evaluations, and general ENT care

Procedures Performed:

• Laryngoscopy
• Tracheostomy

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
• Comfortable working independently in a Level II trauma environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with nursing staff
