ENT PA/NP locums needed in New York

Specialty Needed: ENT PA/NP

Scope of Coverage Needed: Daytime coverage, clinic and OR, no call for any off hours

Shift Times: 12-14 hr shifts

Specific Dates of Need: Need 3 days/week of 12-14 hr shifts

As soon as credentialed, ongoing

Required Procedures/Cases Details:  

The clinic generally has 30 patients scheduled with one attending and two PAs

-What type of cases would they expect to see the most? The cases we do most often are endocrine cases (thyroid and parathyroid), rhinoplasty, tracheostomy, salivary gland (parotid, submandibular gland)

-# of surgeries scheduled per week? Between 4-6, we also have procedure clinic on Fridays (FNAs, nasal bone reduction, excisional biopsy, keloids)

-No trauma cases

-Will they be first assisting with surgeries? Yes, surgeries required/most needed

-Will they be on first call? Yes while on site. They will just be expected to answer the consult phone and gather information about the consult then they will discuss with the consult attending prior to evaluation. They do cover ED dept as well.

235 Beds, not a trauma center

Support Staff: 1 attending ENT, 2 PA's in rotation
