Key Job Responsibilities:

Physicians hired on the Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) track will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.

Clinical expectations include providing patient care at American Family Children’s Hospital and other UW Health clinic locations. Clinical Responsibilities include coverage of the ambulatory and inpatient pediatric endocrinology and diabetes services.

Participate in clinical teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students, and support the teaching and clinical research missions of the division and department.
Required Qualifications:
- WI Medical license by start date of position.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology through the American Board of Pediatrics by start date of position.
- Completion of an ACMGE-approved residency and fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology by the start date of the position.
- Must be eligible for enrollment as a billing provider and for all necessary hospital privileges, by the start date of the position
Education:
MD, DO, or equivalent is required
