Full Time Pediatric Endocrinology in Southern California

🔐 Assignment Overview

Location: Southern California Start Date: ASAP (as soon as credentialed) Duration: Ongoing need FTE Need: 1–2 Pediatric Endocrinologists Conversion Option: Locums-to-perm available for the right provider

Coverage Model

• Week-at-a-time rotation
• Half-day outpatient clinic (video visits optional)
• Hospital rounding
• Weeknight and weekend call coverage
• 24/7 telephone availability (ER, NICU, PICU, inpatient hospitalists, etc.)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Insulin pump management
• Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) management
• Supervision of infusion center for stimulation testing and other endocrine testing

🧬 Provider Requirements

• BE/BC in Pediatric Endocrinology
• Board Eligible accepted if within board-eligibility window (new grads welcome)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical pediatric endocrinology experience
• Active California medical license
• Epic EMR experience required
• Clean background and malpractice history (any issues may delay or prevent privileging)
• Local candidates strongly preferred
