  • Henry Ford Health is seeking a Division Head in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Pancreatology and Nutrition. This position comes with opportunity for a faculty appointment within the Department of Pediatrics, Michigan State University and Wayne State University (rank is determined by individual accomplishments), a competitive salary, and full benefits package.

    3. As part of Henry Ford Health and its expansion, there will also be numerous leadership opportunities within the Department of Pediatrics and the system.
    4. Clinical responsibilities include ambulatory and inpatient care, consultative services, and performance of general GI procedures.
    5. The candidate is expected to lead and to participate in the supervision and education of medical students and residents.
    6. Competence in general pediatric gastrointestinal procedures will be required.

    About the Department of Pediatrics:

    As part of exciting development, Henry Ford Health has launched the growth of its Pediatric services. The vision includes expansion of the inpatient footprint and development of all Pediatric subspecialties. Henry Ford Health Pediatrics is a systems Department and has an inpatient presence at its West Bloomfield Hospital, Macomb Hospital and Henry Ford Hospital.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent
    • Completion of an ACGME approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology
    • Licensed by the Michigan Medical Board
    • Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine (or eligible for same)
