  • The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is seeking candidates for a faculty position in Pediatric Infectious Disease. The individual will share in the patient care and teaching responsibilities with members of the Division of Pediatric Infectious Disease. Leadership opportunities are available and applications from physician-scientists are also encouraged. Candidates must be board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatric Infectious Disease.

    A successful applicant will be joining a team consisting of physicians, infectious diseases PharmD.’s, and a Pediatric Infectious Diseases clinical and bench research team and must be committed to patient care and trainee education. The applicant will have a faculty title in the College of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma and work clinically at Oklahoma Children’s OU Health.

    The division provides care through an inpatient consult service in addition to the outpatient ID clinic. This growing division also has responsibilities for and opportunities for involvement with the following domains: antimicrobial stewardship, education (students, residents, and other specialty fellows), and research.
