  • Children’s Wisconsin and the Medical College of Wisconsin are seeking a collaborative and patient-centered Pediatric Anesthesiologist & Pain Management Physician to join a nationally recognized pediatric team.     Key Responsibilities: Physicians in this role will work closely with pediatric specialists, surgeons, nurses, psychologists, and rehabilitation teams to deliver exceptional care while contributing to research, education, and quality improvement initiatives.

    • Provide pediatric anesthesia care across inpatient and outpatient surgical settings
    • Deliver perioperative pain management and collaborate with multidisciplinary pain teams
    • Participate in care at Children’s Wisconsin Milwaukee Campus and affiliated ambulatory surgery centers
    • Work alongside pediatric anesthesiologists, advanced practice providers, psychologists, therapists, social workers, and nursing staff
    • Support and optimize patient safety, quality outcomes, and perioperative workflows
    • Contribute to the clinical education of fellows, residents, medical students, and other trainees
    • Engage in academic activities including research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives
    • Foster collaborative relationships with surgeons, proceduralists, technicians, and hospital leadership
    • Participate in a patient-centered care model focused on pediatric excellence and innovation

    Qualifications:

    • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
    • Fellowship training or interest in Pediatric Anesthesiology and/or Pain Management preferred
    • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Wisconsin
    • Commitment to academic medicine, multidisciplinary collaboration, and high-quality pediatric care
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Interest in clinical research, education, and continuous improvement initiatives encouraged
