Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatrician (MD) to join our healthcare team in Hoboken, New Jersey. This is a full-time opportunity to provide comprehensive, high-quality medical care to pediatric patients in a collaborative and family-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pediatric assessments, histories, and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's clinical needs.
- Prescribe medications and other appropriate therapies in accordance with established clinical guidelines.
- Provide preventive care, health screenings, immunizations, and wellness counseling.
- Educate children and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Coordinate care and provide appropriate referrals and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the EHR.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote evidence-based clinical practices.
- Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered care while building strong relationships with patients and caregivers.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Active and unrestricted New Jersey medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred; new graduates are welcome.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
