This dynamic opportunity allows you to build a tailored practice within a collaborative interdisciplinary clinic focused on the non-surgical management of spine, musculoskeletal, neurologic, and chronic pain conditions across two locations in Vancouver and New Westminster.

    Compensation, Perks and Benefits

    Compensation

    • Payment Structure: Fee-for-Service with MSP submissions every 2 weeks
    • Overhead: Fixed split percentage model based on specialty and procedural requirements

    Role Overview

    As a Physician at CPRI Medical & Rehab, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with complex spine, musculoskeletal, sports medicine, neurologic, and nociplastic pain conditions. Physicians have the flexibility to develop a practice aligned with their interests, including general medication management, trigger point injections, ultrasound-guided procedures, fluoroscopy-guided interventions, and electrodiagnostic medicine.

    Core Responsibilities

    Direct Patient Care

    • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
    • Provide evidence-based non-surgical and rehabilitation-focused interventions
    • Manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal and pain conditions

    Diagnostics & Treatment Planning

    • Utilize clinical assessment, imaging, and electrodiagnostic resources as appropriate
    • Develop comprehensive management plans to improve patient function and quality of life

    Collaborative Care

    • Work closely with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, counsellors, and kinesiologists
    • Collaborate with orthopedic surgery colleagues for pre- and post-operative patient care

    Clinical Development & Education

    • Contribute to clinic growth, education initiatives, and quality improvement projects
    • Participate in teaching opportunities through UBC-affiliated programs

    Requirements, Qualifications, & Skills

    Education & Certification

    • FRCPC or AAPMR Certification required
    • CASEM Certification required for Sports Medicine physicians

    Licensure

    • Eligible for licensure with the CPSBC (independent, provisional, associate, or USA certified pathways)
    • Valid medical license with ability to work in British Columbia
    • CMPA coverage required
