Job Summary
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physiatrist to join our Spine Clinic team in Puyallup, Washington. This full-time opportunity offers the ability to practice within a highly collaborative, integrated care model that emphasizes evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care. Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) is a clinician-led organization providing care exclusively for Kaiser Permanente members across Washington State. With over 1,300 clinicians spanning 30+ specialties, WPMG is one of the region’s most respected multi-specialty medical groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients in an outpatient spine clinic setting across the full continuum of care
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for both acute and chronic spinal conditions
- Perform primarily diagnostic evaluations with some longitudinal patient management
- Collaborate closely with neurosurgery for surgical cases and care coordination
- Partner with anesthesia pain specialists for interventional procedures and pain management
- Participate in a non-operative spine care model focused on conservative, evidence-based treatment
- Option to perform fluoroscopically guided injections for qualified and interested candidates
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a team-based environment
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Completion of an accredited PM&R residency program
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted DEA license
- Ability to obtain a Washington State Medical License
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and collaborative mindset
Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time (1.0 FTE) outpatient position
- No call responsibilities
- No inpatient rounding
- Non-operative spine clinic setting
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary care model
- Administrative and care coordination support provided

Compensation Details
$297K–$350K
Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $297,995 to $350,582 (salary will be prorated based on FTE, new hire salaries will be based on factors such as education, training and experience.)
