Psychiatrist - Weekend CL - Inova Fair Oaks Hospital/IAH

Inova Health is looking for a dedicated Consult Liaison Psychiatrist to join the team. Inova Behavioral Health supports Inova's overall mission, promoting total wellness - mind and body - by offering a full spectrum of mental health and addiction treatment services to the surrounding Northern Virginia and Washington, DC, metropolitan community.
Hospital-based Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Inova offers expert psychiatric consultation services at our flagship Inova Fairfax Hospital, a 923-bed level 1 trauma center, and robust teaching services to medical students, residents and fellows.
The Behavioral Health Service Line at Inova Fairfax campus has 41 adult inpatient beds in addition to emergency psychiatry services across 11 emergency rooms, and ambulatory psychiatric services across the northern Virginia region.
We have a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team that consists of:
• Psychiatrists
• Licensed Therapists
• Social Workers
• Psychiatric Nurses
• Mental Health Technicians

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:Doctor of Medicine degree or Doctor of Osteopathic degree from an accredited institution AND Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

Experience: Successful completion of an ACGME physician residency program and completion of an ACGME Consult Liaison Fellowship Program.

Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia and Virginia DEA

Credentialing: Ability to be credentialed by the Inova Health System as an associate member of the Medical Staff with clinical privileges in Internal Medicine

Preferred Qualifications:
one year of experience preferred
