Job Summary:

The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a full-time radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in Interventional Radiology at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor on the CT (Clinician Teacher) Track or CHS (Clinical Health Sciences) Track.

For appointments hired on the Clinician Teacher (CT) Track: Provide patient care at UW Health approved locations, participate in resident and medical teaching within the scope of the medical practice.

For appointments hired on the Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) Track: Provide patient care at UW Health approved locations, participate in resident and medical teaching within the scope of the medical practice. The successful applicant will participate in the administrative, and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.

Responsibilities:

The duties for this position will be in the Interventional Imaging Section and include performing diagnostic angiography, vascular interventional, non-vascular interventional procedures (such as abscess drainage, biliary drainage, percutaneous nephrostomy, pancreatic pseudocyst drainage, embolization's, and biopsy procedures under fluoroscopy, ultrasound, or CT guidance). Clinical research and teaching are required, based on CT or CHS Track requirements. Departmental teaching assignments include medical students, residents, fellows and other department trainees as appropriate.

Education:

Required
Terminal Degree
MD, DO, or equivalent

Qualifications:

Board certified or board eligible for dual certification in diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology. WI Medical license eligible. Fellowship training in interventional radiology or Integrated/Independent Interventional Radiology training is preferred.
