Orthopedic Surgery - Per Diem Nurse Practitioner Registered Nurse First Assistant or Physician Assistant - Syracuse, NY

St. Josephs Health is seeking per diem PAs and NP RFNAs to join our inpatient orthopedic surgery team in Syracuse, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of hospital employed orthopedic surgeons and Advanced Practitioners in a hospital-based setting, providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing orthopedic procedures.

Position Details:

• First assist in surgical procedures
• ED Ortho (reduction/splinting/casting/injections).
• Inpatient management of orthopedic surgery patients
• Pre- and post-operative assessments, rounding, discharge planning
• Collaboration with surgeons, nursing staff, and rehabilitation teams
• NYS licensure as PA or NP (RFNA) required
• DEA certification required
• ACLS/BLS certification required
• Experience in orthopedic or surgical inpatient care required
• New grads will not be considered

Compensation:

• $110.00 per hour
