Locums Cardiothoracic PA Opportunity in Southern NY

Position details:

• 3 month+ locums assignment
• Competitive hourly rate ($165/hr-$175/hr) + travel +lodging covered
• Monday-Friday Day shifts

Position Overview: The Physician Assistant will work closely with supervising physicians to deliver comprehensive patient care across the continuum. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, conducting physical assessments and histories, counseling patients, and rounding on hospitalized patients while collaborating with nursing staff on established care plans. This role also involves first assisting in the operating room, completing discharge summaries, and managing orders for medications, treatments, and labs.

The provider will participate in a shared call schedule, including holiday coverage, and respond to patient care needs as required. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervising physicians.
