Urology Associates of Charleston (UAC) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist to join our growing team serving the beautiful Charleston region. This opportunity offers partnership potential, robust ancillary revenue, and a balanced quality of life in one of the nation’s most desirable coastal cities.

Compensation & Partnership Track

• Years 1 & 2: Competitive guaranteed base salary of $300,000.
• Year 3: Partnership eligibility with equal share of ancillary revenue plus production-based bonus.
• Partnership buy-in: $50,000, returned in full as a buyout at retirement.
• Quarterly bonus distribution once partnership is achieved.

This model allows physicians to directly benefit from the group’s collective success and share equally in ancillary income, creating long-term financial stability and growth potential.

• Moving Allowance/Signing Bonus: Reimbursement up to $10,000 in relocation expenses.
• Retirement Plan: 401(k) with 4% employer match and Profit-Sharing Plan; opportunity to save over $60,000 annually when maximizing contributions.
• Professional Liability: Premiums fully covered under ProAssurance, with individual limits up to $3 million annually.
• CME & Professional Expenses: Up to $5,000 annually during first two years; unlimited CME thereafter as a partner (expensed at year-end).
• Health Insurance: Individual coverage provided at no cost; family coverage subsidized (~$4,800 annual savings).
• Additional Perks: $150/month allowance for phone and internet expenses.
• Paid Time Off: 3 weeks (15 days) annually as an employed physician, increasing to 6 weeks (30 days) upon partnership.
• Call Schedule: Shared call rotation of 1:5 weekends across three hospitals, offering excellent work-life balance.

UAC is a well-established, physician-led group that has been serving the Lowcountry for years with a focus on advanced urologic care and innovation. The practice currently includes five Urologists and four Advanced Practice Providers, offering comprehensive services across three modern office locations in Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, and Berkley. Our physicians maintain strong hospital affiliations with Roper Downtown, Roper Berkley, and Roper Mount Pleasant, ensuring a diverse and rewarding clinical experience.

Our team is supported by state-of-the-art technology and extensive in-house services including a lab, urodynamics, chronic care management, and an in-office dispensary. We also manage a robust buy-and-bill program offering Aveed, Xgeva, Prolia, Eligard, Keytruda, and Xiaflex. UAC’s Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic serves as a designated Center of Excellence, underscoring our commitment to subspecialty care and clinical advancement.
