Vascular Surgeon Opportunity - Louisville, KY

Norton Heart & Vascular Institute, a part of Norton Healthcare located in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible vascular surgeon to join its growing team. Our team five board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular surgeons and two advanced practice providers work closely with skilled specialists from cardiology, neurology and radiology to evaluate and treat patients with vascular disease. This coordinated approach ensures that patients with vascular disease receive the most comprehensive and personal care.

Norton Heart & Vascular Institute’s vascular surgeons perform nearly 2,000 surgeries annually, including over 180 transcarotid artery revascularization, and endovascular aneurysm repair procedures. Norton Heart & Vascular Institute is accredited through the Vascular Quality Initiative and is a progressive group of practices that maintains more than 57% of the total cardiovascular market share, more than any other health care provider in our service area. It offers comprehensive cardiovascular care, including specialized programs for electrophysiology, structural heart defects, advanced cardiac imaging, cardiac critical care and advanced heart failure, including mechanical circulatory support and cardiac rehabilitation.

About the Position

• Inpatient care at three of Norton Healthcare’s adult-service hospitals in Louisville
• 11 clinic locations (five in Louisville and six outreach locations)
• 1 in 5 call coverage (will move to 1 in 6 call)
• Additional compensation available based on quality measures
