MercyOne Des Moines AND MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Centers are looking for a locums Hematologist Oncologist to cover their needs!

Schedule:

• 2 weeks on/2 weeks off with call
• 3-6 months with option to extend
• Patient Contact Hours: 6

• Clinic Hours: 8a-4p

• Telehealth: Yes, there may be telehealth in addition to inpatient responsibilities 
• Job Description: Medical Hematology/Oncology coverage for 4/5 days per week. Inpatient coverage of both sites
• Number of Physicians: 1
• Number of Advances Practice Providers: 0
• Supervision of APPs expected: NO
• Nursing Support: 1:1
• Medical Imaging: Yes
• Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
• Clinic Provider Daily Volume: 10-30
• Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 10-15
• Appointment Length: consult - 40 minutes, follow up - 20 minutes
• Patient Population: Primary Clinic - Medicare/ Medicaid/Commercial; Secondary Clinical - Commercial, Medicare
