Hematologist/Oncologist - Delbert Day Cancer Institute - Rolla, MO

Position Highlights:

• Immediate patient volume with growing practice
• State-of-the-art cancer center; COC-accredited; ASCO-certified
• Experienced, collaborative team of physicians and nurse practitioners
• On-site infusion pharmacy; oral oncology pharmacist; PET/CT; Paxman scalp cooling; grant-funded nutrition station; 18 chair infusion center
• On-site support staff include dedicated nurse navigators, dietitian, social worker, financial navigator, triage nurse, RN coordinator, and LPN or MA
• 50/50 hematology and oncology case mix
• 3:1 call
• Epic EMR and Dax CoPilot

Core Responsibilities:

• Diagnose blood disorders and cancers
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
• Manage side effects and complications
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with other specialists
• Educate and support patients
• Deliver an exceptional level of attention and care to all patients

Qualifications and Experience:

• Board Eligible/Board Certified Physician in Hematology/Oncology
• Experience serving as a collaborating physician with Advance Practice Providers

Location:

• This is a full-time position located within the Delbert Day Cancer Institute at Phelps Health in Rolla, Missouri.
