Locums Hematology/Oncology Physician - Summer Coverage

We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum tenens assignment in beautiful Bellingham, WA, to help cover a gap in care while a permanent provider is out. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative and well-supported outpatient cancer care center serving a high-need patient population.

📅 Assignment Details: 🧑‍⚕️ Clinical Team: 📋 Requirements:

• Start Date: July 2025
• End Date: Through September 29, 2025
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call: 1 weekend/month + 1–2 weekday calls (24hr)
• Setting: Outpatient only – no rounding or admissions
• Patient Volume: Average of 20 patients/day
• Patient Demographics: Adult population with a high volume of breast cancer cases
• EMR: EPIC (must be proficient)

You’ll work alongside a collaborative team including:

• Medical Oncologists
• Radiation Oncologists
• Palliative Care providers
• Experienced ARNPs
• Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology
• WA medical license required (due to expedited credentialing)
• BLS Certification
• Comfortable managing breast cancer cases
